The DILG Ilocos Sur Sub-Cluster 1 has successfully conducted its annual comprehensive governance assessment for all eleven Local Government Units under its jurisdiction. The assessment evaluated key performance indicators including financial management, transparency, public service delivery, and compliance with national government policies. All LGUs demonstrated significant improvements from the previous year, with three municipalities receiving special citations for exceptional performance.
